    You will work alongside our production, HR and recruitment teams to support with administrative tasks for the latest innovation from News UK, TalkTV, which launched in April of this year.

    What You'll Do

    TV Administrative Assistant (6 Month Fixed Term Contract)

    Day to day you will:

    • Support with the onboarding of new employees, freelance crew and apprentices
    • Arrange and coordinate interviews, including room bookings when needed
    • Coordinate and oversee an assessment centre for our TV apprentices
    • Work closely with the production team to support bookings, rotas & communication with crew
    • Work with the production team and HR to issue contracts
    • Set up new employees or crew with necessary access passes, log ins &/or programs
    • Assisting with travel bookings for talent, crew & editorial teams
    • Assisting with production paperwork such as call sheets, release forms, rotas
    • Supporting production management looking after guests & talent in the building
    • Assisting with admin such as expenses, invoices, payment setups, POs

    Requirements

    • Calm under pressure dealing with a fast paced newsroom
    • Good communication skills specifically working in a team
    • Adaptable attitude to be able to work in a variety of different areas
    • Good use of initiative to ensure you are prioritising tasks as required
