    About the role

    We are recruiting for an International Consultant at NFP, to increase employee engagement and provide first class customer service. To engage and educate our clients about their employee benefits via a wide range of communication methods.

    To secure new business from new and existing prospects / introducers, assisting in the delivery of NFP’s business plan and objectives for profitable growth.

    Overview of duties

    • Ownership of the client relationship – technical ownership and relationship ownership.
    • Perform strategic reviews with large and key account clients.
    • Build on the relationship with the client via one-on-one calls and touch points throughout the year.
    • An extensive knowledge of technical details, such as country specifics, policy details and products such as multinational pooling.
    • Understand client aims and objectives, requirements as per IDD to ensure recommendations are suitable, particular to each country.
    • Consistently work to broaden technical knowledge (exams, personal study etc.)
    • Understanding of the client’s global strategy and being able to find solutions to suit the clients need.
    • Make suitable recommendations based on the client’s particular needs.
    • Client servicing – respond promptly to client enquiries, in line with agreed levels of service (within 24 hours).
    • Accurately peer review reports and email wording for account managers where applicable.
    • Work with finance to generate invoices for clients and following on the fee discussion with the client.
    • Understand the client service agreement and prepare when needed.
    • Maintain a good relationship with sales, to be involved with the sales process and onboarding of clients.
    • Build and maintain a relationship with colleagues in the US, Canada, Ireland etc. as there will be an expectation to work as a team for the client.
    • Confidently oversee the account managers to carry out the administration work for the clients
    • Ensure a professional standard is upheld when speaking with colleagues, clients, prospects, and any other 3rd parties.

    Education and/or experience

    • BA or BS degree preferred or equivalent experience
