    The role

NFU Mutual formed its Risk Management Services function in 1992 and its in-house risk experts have been helping business owners identify and minimise commercial risk ever since. Due to some recent changes, we are seeking a Graduate Risk Management Consultant to join our existing team in the South East

Our dedicated, expert consultants offer risk management advice to help customers reduce losses and have fewer accidents and, ultimately, to help our parent company with one of its key strategic objectives: sustainable, profitable growth.

We are looking for a Business or Economics graduate who is looking to start their career within an established company who offer a nurturing environment with full training provided. This is a remote working role, and no two days are the same, so if you enjoy variety and building relationships with people this could be the right opportunity for you.

Full on the job and professional training will be provided and you will be supported by a team of experienced Risk Management Consultants who will help you learn the responsibilities of the role, providing you with the skills you need to become successful. You will learn to undertake loss control surveys for a variety of clients on industrial and commercial properties to improve client legal compliance, quality standards, risk exposure and ongoing management of health and safety. You will also build and maintain relationships with clients, our underwriting and claims teams, our Agents, Health & Safety Consultants, our Sales team as wells as industry and regulatory bodies to ensure the effective delivery of objectives and promotion of the Risk Management Services division.

    What we’re looking for

The successful candidate will be degree qualified specifically Business, Economics or something similar. You must be a real people person with a proven background in relationship building and working with a variety of customers, ideally within a customer services setting.
