NHS Grampian Dental Services in partnership with Moray Public Dental Services are looking to recruit for the post of Trainee Dental Nurse within various locations across Moray including Elgin and Buckie.

Successful candidates will be working alongside dentists, hygienists and therapists in busy clinical environments as well as participating in a day release theory based training programme and Aberdeen Dental School.
This full time 20 month fixed-term training contract will equip successful candidates with the knowledge, training and practical experience required to meet the necessary standards within the SQA SVQ Dental Nursing qualification.
Gaining this recognised qualification and entering onto the professional register with the General Dental Council are the first steps on the career pathway within the dental nursing care profession.
Requirements
Entry onto the Dental Nurse Training Course requires candidates to posses a minimum of 3 National 5 Grade level or equivalent qualifications, to include English and a Science.
As self directed study is a major component of the training programme, it is essential that candidates posses a high level of commitment and willingness to study.A flexible and adaptable approach to work pattern and location are essential.
Interviews will be held sometime during the period of 7 th – 11 th November 2022. Successful candidates must be available to take up post on 16 th January 2023.
