We are a dynamic, customer-focused business looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Trainee Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone with a passion for numbers, excellent communication skills, and a desire to build a career in credit control
Duties will include
As part of your training, you will support the Accounts Receivable team with tasks such as:
- Assisting with posting and allocating payments to customer accounts
- Learning to manage customer accounts and how to follow up on overdue balances
- Preparing basic reports on outstanding payments and account activity
- Supporting the setup of new customer accounts and learning how to conduct credit checks
- Maintaining and updating customer information in internal systems
- Processing card payments and general administrative support
- Gaining exposure to invoicing and month-end finance routines
- Developing strong communication skills through daily contact with customers and colleagues
