Join us as a Data Assistant and you’ll become part of the leading kitchen specialist in Europe.
Do you have flair for working in Excel? Are you structured in the way you work? Then you might be Nobia’s new Data Assistant. We are looking for a dedicated employee for a fixed term 18 month contract.
You will be based in Darlington and work as part of the team, which is located in Darlington and Denmark.
Nobia has started a project where we are collecting all our master data into one system and at the same time, secures ways of working, data quality and security. We need a new colleague, who has a passion for data and understands the value in securing that data are always 100% accurate.
What you’ll be doing
- Collect data from both internal and external sources
- Compile data and format them to fit into our systems
- Check data patterns for inconsistencies and correct when necessary
- Collaborate with colleagues and suppliers to secure data is valid
- Provide input to the development of the master data system
How you will qualify for the role
Your education or previous work history is not the most important. You may want to try something new in your career, or maybe you are starting in your first job. We are looking for a colleague who has a keen interest and willingness to learn, and to be part of a larger international company with many opportunities.
It is of high importance that you work in a structured way and has a detailed approach to the tasks given. You also need strong communication skills and the ability to interact with many different stakeholders.
Your attributes/skills
- Identify data patterns – especially where they don’t match
- Be proactive and take initiative – you are not afraid to ask one more time
- Take pride and care about your work and that the tasks you deliver are accurate
- Accepts that it may take time to reach the goal, whilst at the same time can deliver according to deadlines
- Strong knowledge of Excel and required formula’s i.e.: (VLOOKUP, Concatenate, Match, etc.), and can work with large amounts of data
- Speaks and writes English, fluently
