    NPS Leeds represents the successful joint venture between Norse Consulting and Leeds City Council, providing a wide range of services across architecture, surveying, engineering, and property maintenance.

    We have a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Building Surveyor to join our team on a full time, permanent contract working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

    As Graduate Building Surveyor, you will be working alongside the Senior management team providing a range of Building Surveying services to our clients. You will carry out surveys and produce reports to time, cost and quality requirements, ensuring achievement of day-to-day maintenance expenditure to pre-set targets and completion of planned works programmes and projects to schedule.

    Our Building Surveyors help to ensure efficient maintenance planning and manage planned and reactive building repair activities as required. You will know what to look for to ensure that building users are safe, repairs and refurbishments are effective and that our property portfolio is compliant with current legislation.

    Our Successful Candidate:

    You will be able to demonstrate commercial experience within a building surveyor role, and be confident writing specifications, conducting condition surveys and running projects of varying size aswell as the following:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a Building Surveying related discipline
    • Holds a current site card or prepared to immediately attain
    • Experience in a similar related role
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
