    12-month (year-long) paid placement opportunities available that will start in September 2023.

    Who we’re looking for

    Are you an enthusiastic undergraduate student, with an interest in Engineering or the Built Environment Sector?

    We’re looking for undergraduate students to undertake a 12-month (year-long) placement with some of the leading companies in the North East of England.

    During the placement, you’ll be paid the real living wage, as well as receiving invaluable skills

    and experience working on real life Northumbrian Water projects. You’ll spend time working with Northumbrian Water, then you’ll potentially have the opportunity to rotate around numerous different companies participating in the programme.

    The safety and wellbeing of our people is our highest priority. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to adjust our programme to ensure that everyone remains safe whilst ensuring we continue to deliver our essential services to customers. To ensure this continues, placement students must be flexible including working from home.
