What does the role involve?

As an Operations Management Graduate, you will join our Fleet Operations team in Vehicle Solutions. During the two-year programme, you'll have plenty of opportunities to develop yourself as a professional, and potential leader as you will spend time in several key business areas, including; Driverline & Incident Management, Downtime & Customer Fleet Management, Technical Control & Engineering, plus Compliance (involving Control, Documents & Admin).

As you progress in your development, you will be expected to build a strong understanding of our company and industry, provide support on a diverse range of project-based assignments and management activities and provide general assistance to the different stakeholders within the business.

Our office is based in Trowbridge but we're passionate about hybrid working, attendance at the Trowbridge office is a minimum of 2 days per week.

Some of your key duties will include

  • Support operational leaders in managing day-to-day operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build key stakeholder relationships
  • Work closely with internal key stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient service is provided throughout the customer's operational journey
  • Identity opportunities to improve operational processes and procedures and contribute to efficiencies within the department
  • Maintain a zero tolerance approach to fleet compliance, supported through the successful enrolment of CPC course (Certificate of Professional Competence)

What are we looking for?

You'll have recently graduated and achieved a 2:2 or above in your chosen degree.

In an ever-evolving environment you will flourish by using your talent for spotting opportunities to make things better. You'll have the ability to navigate relationships using your interpersonal skills, think creatively, be adaptable and last but certainly not least, have a passion for learning.

You must have a full UK Driving Licence, as this role will involve travel to other sites and customer premises as and when required. We're also looking for a Graduate who can:

  • Plan their own day and prioritise work
  • Adapt to change quickly and positively
  • Think differently and outside the box
