    What is the purpose of the role?

    • To provide an effective and efficient administrative and processing support service to the People Operations Team.
    • To support the team in developing, managing and reviewing administrative processes and services.
    • The People Operations Team is primarily responsible for HR workflow and is the first point of contact for written and telephone enquiries. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate HR records.

    What are the core responsibilities?

    • Answering the phones
    • Progressing safeguarding checks
    • Production of letters and other documents
    • Inputting payroll details
    • Routine financial processing
    • Recruitment
    • Maintaining spreadsheets and updating HR databases
    • The opportunity to get involved with HR projects

    What do I need to be able to demonstrate?

    • You will need to demonstrate that you are passionate and motivated with a commitment to the NSPCC and its fight for every childhood.
    • You will have excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • You will be able to demonstrate an experience of working in a customer focused environment
    • You will need to have an ability to work to a high level of accuracy to meet demanding deadlines and a positive approach to change.
