    Business Unit Description

    NXP’s Automotive business unit offers sensor and processing technology that drives all aspects of the secure connected cars of today and the autonomous cars of tomorrow.

    Job Summary:

    • This intern vacancy is within BU Automotive, BL AMP (Automotive Microcontrollers & Processors), Vehicle Control and Networking Solutions (VCNS) Engineering group. BU Automotive is one of the core businesses of NXP.
    • Our technologies for Automotive applications create new ways to make cars cleaner, safer & more secure while adding convenience and fun. NXP is the number 1 supplier of automotive semiconductors
    • The VCNS product line includes the microcontroller and microprocessor products needed to control everything around the safe motion and networking of the vehicle. Connectivity and electrification are key mega trends in the automotive industry and this role is vital to keep NXP at the forefront.
    • The role of solutions and applications engineering is to develop new solutions for the market space, introduce new products and demonstrating these solutions to customers and working with the customers to develop their end application.

    Job Qualifications

    • You should be in the penultimate year in degree (Hons) in Electronic, Electrical, Software or other relevant engineering degree.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
    • Naturally structured, diligent and self motivated.
