    This internship is within the EMEA Global Sales and Marketing, Business Development IOT and Security team who develop leading edge solutions business solutions in the Secure Identity, Smart Mobility and Secure Sector for phone, banking, access and identity applications. Our customers include most of the major high street brands, governments and corporate organisations and our projects include interesting leading edge applications.

    The role

    We are looking for a highly motivated student to join our team for a 9-12 months internship. You will get an opportunity to be mentored by Senior Business Development professionals and be involved in a number of projects. You will also receive an internship annual salary of £21,000 per annum pro rata for the internship period.

    Your responsibilities

    • Analyse the Electric Vehicle (EV) charging market for payment and the relevance of closed loop micropayment utilising the NXP MIFARE solution (both physical and virtual)
    • Report construction within the SFDC (NXP’s CRM tool) to enhance the Design Win (DW) cycle for renewal, training will be given.
    • Business and Market analysis
    • Collaboration across NXP departments
    • Some travel maybe required
    • Responsibilities and tasks can grow based on dedication and skills

    Your profile:

    • Ongoing studies in a Business or Marketing degree discipline, 3rd, 4th or 5th year student of a Masters or Honours degree course
    • Electronic/ semi conductor knowledge useful but not essential
    • Experience in report construction is an advantage
    • Independent working style and motivation to learn
    • Possible home office based dependent on location
    • Team player
    • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
    • Naturally structured and diligent, self-motivated.
    • Solid English skills (conversation and writing)
    • At least 20 hours per week, up to 37.5 hours
