    This intern vacancy is within Automotive Processors Business Unit, Vehicle Control & Networking Solutions (VCNS) group. Automotive is one of the core businesses of NXP. Our technologies for Automotive applications create new ways to make cars cleaner, safer & more secure while adding convenience and fun. NXP is the global number 1 supplier of automotive semiconductors.

    The VCNS product line includes the microcontroller and microprocessor products needed to control everything around the safe motion and networking of the vehicle. Connectivity and electrification are key mega-trends in the automotive industry just now - and this role is vital to help keep NXP at the fore front.

    The role of the solutions & applications engineering team is to develop new microcontroller and microprocessor solutions for this market space, introduce new products to the market by demonstrating the system solution to the customers, and then work with the customers as they develop their application.

    The vacancy within the team is for an intern to work with our engineering team on our state of the art vehicle dynamics products to demonstrate and develop application solutions in the areas of electrification, domain control and safety control.

    Job qualifications

    • You should be in the penultimate year of study in Degree (Hons) in Electronic, Electrical, Software Engineering or other relevant degree
    • Excellent written & verbal communication skills (English language)
    • Naturally structured and diligent, self-motivated
