We are currently recruiting for a Production Trainee at Leicester Head Office on an 18-month Fixed Term Contract. The role will involve learning and developing in all areas of the production facility, whilst following a set training plan.
About the role
- To train in all aspects of production, including CNC & CAD/CAM processes
- To carry out key tasks within both Semi-Finished and Machining teams
- To complete a training plan set out internally involving all aspects of Production
- To support and gain experience in the Warehouse function, including goods in/out, order picking, stock management, and dispatch
- To familiarise with all current works order processes
- To contribute to a clean and tidy working environment
- Ensure all relevant machine H&S checks are carried out
- Liaise with Production Supervisors and Team Leaders on day-to-day duties
- To assist all current Production teams with labour demands, deburring and cleaning duties
- Maintain a safe clean and organised working environment, in line with Health & Safety standards
About you
- Must hold a grade C or above in Maths and English GCSE
- Must have a keen interest for Engineering/Manufacturing
- Must have the desire and enthusiasm to learn new skills
- Must have good attention to detail
- Maintain a positive working attitude towards the role and other colleagues
