What you will be doing
We have opportunities for 4 interns to join us for up to 6 months in one of the following areas:
- Data Science - You'll be using python scripts to process space imagery, produce vector shapes or other raster images.
- Software Developer - You'll be adding new API endpoints to support new functionalities in our front end and/or to offer more features via our public API
- Mathematical Modelling and Simulation - You'll be supporting our facilitation of a detailed characterisation of power system for new missions and to allow early identification of issues and risks
- Mechanical Design - You'll be working hands on with space technology undertaking mechanical and electronic assembly as well as running and automating tests
What you will need to be successful
- Completed a degree in the relevant subject area, at minimum your second year with GPA 2:2
- Programming knowledge in one of the object oriented programming languages
- Able to demonstrate projects on GitHub
- Great communication skills with the ability to relay complex information simply to technical and non technical audiences
- displays good analytical thinking, always looking to improve work and develop new skills
