What You’ll Do

Join a fun and flexible workplace where you’ll enhance your skills and build a solid professional foundation. As a Business Development Representative Intern you will be:

  • Research prospective clients by staying on top of industry news and trends
  • Leverage NetSuite CRM and other sales tools to source new businesses and contacts
  • Partner with Business Development Representatives to plan and implement sales campaigns targeting current and potential customers
  • Support the Business Development Organization with ad hoc operational projects
  • Work with cross functional teams such as Marketing & Enablement on projects that drive lead generation
  • Learn how to source and prospect the technology space by shadowing Business Development Representatives and participating in team meetings, trainings & events
  • Integrate yourself into the Business Development Organization by networking, building relationships, and being responsible for your professional development

  • Undergraduate students completing a university placement program
  • Energetic, articulate and motivated students on course for a 2:1 degree or higher with the right attitude and aptitude to succeed in a fast-paced business
  • High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, commitment, self-motivation and achievement-orientation
  • A real team player and good interpersonal skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to draw evidence-based conclusions
  • The ability to self-manage, with strong organisational and planning skills
  • Not afraid to fail, not afraid to learn
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Intelligent, motivated and competitive with a “roll-up-the-sleeves” and “get the job done” attitude
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills (outgoing and personable)
  • Thrive on working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong business judgment and common sense
  • Desire to work in tech industry with a growing company – Sales Organisation
