MySQL HeatWave is a massively parallel, high performance, in-memory query accelerator for Oracle MySQL Database Service that accelerates MySQL performance by orders of magnitude for analytics and mixed workloads. Job Description
MySQL HeatWave team is working on next-generation large-scale distributed systems designed for the most popular database in the world and optimized for the cloud. We need expertise in the following (or related) areas:
- Database kernel development
- Query processing/big data analytics
- System software, including operating system kernels
- Cloud computing
- Machine learning
- Computer Architecture, Compilers, and Programming languages
Who you are
We are looking for candidates with a PhD/ Master’s in CS/CE with:
- Strong background in design and development
- Demonstrated research excellence
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including scientific writing, presenting, and formal briefings
The base salary for the internship is: £22,500
