    We are recruiting a Mechanical Engineering Placement Student for our Engineering team for 12 month placement starting in July 2023 based at our Belfast headquarters. The Mechanical Engineering Placement Student will work in the Engineering team enhancing Andor’s innovative scientific product portfolio and providing technical support. The role extends to mechanical design and development of scientific cameras and high end opto-mechanical mechanisms, engineering change management within a production environment, bill of material management, one-off customer special request support and development, support for customer queries and production technical support.

    The Mechanical Engineering Placement Student will be completing the 2nd year of a BEng honours degree (IMechE accredited) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical & Manufacturing, Aeronautical, Product Design or Automotive Engineering by July 2023 and be available to start placement in July 2023.
