    Help PA Assignments connect brands with audiences as our newest Junior Video Producer

    In this role, under the guidance of the Video Production Manager, you will work with our clients, taking briefs and transforming them into engaging audience specific content for multiple platforms.

    No two projects are the same, and because of the fast-paced and quick turnaround nature of the projects, the Junior Producer will need to support multiple shoots at varying stages of production, with other video team members, using great attention to detail and a high level of client service.

    PA Media Assignments specialise in editorial and creative video content for PR agencies, charities, and brand direct, whether that be: shooting A-list supermodels, flying drones around a racetrack, or heading to Barcelona for a mobile phone tech company. No two days are ever the same!

    What you’ll be doing

    • Taking a brief from a client and nurturing that project from pre- to post-production.
    • Discussions with clients around budget and briefing documents
    • Creating call sheets, risk assessments, booking travel and crew, managing shoot logistics.
    • Creating treatments for client edits, with clear editorial narrative.
    • Supporting the video team and crew on shoot locations
    • Interviewing spokespeople and talent, creating the questions to get the key messages and top news lines from them.
    • Working with editors to get deliverables finalised within deadlines.
    • Make quick decisions on location and show leadership qualities when required.
    • Complete all post-shoot admin, chasing invoices from freelancers and PO numbers from clients. Finalising job sheets with all expenses so they are ready for processing.
    • Creating cutdowns for social media with in-house or freelance editor.

    What you’ll need

    • Some experience as a production assistant/junior producer
    • UK Driving Licence
    • Some experience working on branded, corporate, social or editorial video content.
    • Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task
    • Excellent communication and logistical skills
    • Some project management experience
    • Some experience with on location shooting
    • Flexible attitude to working hours.
    • Adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
    • Fast learner with enthusiasm to build on current skills.

    Technical skills

    • A basic knowledge of cameras and editing software.
    • Basic understanding of different kinds of video format
    • Demonstrate a basic working knowledge of Premiere Pro
    • MAC software proficient
