    Paramount Pictures UK is seeking an enthusiastic intern to join the UK theatrical digital marketing team, on a one-year placement. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of films and learn about film distribution in a fast paced, hands-on environment. This position will afford an invaluable training opportunity for those interested in digital marketing.

    Summary of Role Responsibilities

    • Assisting with the sign off and delivery of marketing materials (including trailers, online spots social, and digital assets) and ensure they are supplied to internal teams and external agencies
    • Monitoring and gathering competitor activity and reporting to the UK marketing team
    • Assisting the Digital Manager and the Publicity team on online launches of all trailers and clips
    • Assisting the Digital Manager on the briefing and approval of exhibitor activity
    • Working closely with the Digital Manager and UK departments to ensure a timely delivery of information, communication, and smooth workflow
    • Keeping key suppliers and agencies updated on release schedules and promotional plans
    • Assist the Digital team in organising key asset folders and files
    • Assist Digital Manager to ensure the social calendar is populated and social agency is briefed and fed back to
    • Assist the digital team with management of influencer activations and events (premieres, screenings, and content shoots)

    Qualifications / Experience

    Essential

    • Understanding of the UK digital marketing, digital and social media landscape
    • Experience at managing multiple tasks
    • Understanding of social media platforms

    Skills/ abilities

    Essential

    • Excellent time management skills
    • High level of attention to detail
    • Fluent English, with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • PC literate, with intermediate Excel and Word skills and advanced Outlook and PowerPoint skills
    • Organised and thorough, with the ability to co-ordinate, prioritise and multitask
    • Builds effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Willing to work out of hours

    Disposition

    • Interest in Film and the film distribution process
    • Flexible approach to working hours – able to work some weekends or evenings as required.
    • Sense of humour.
    • Assertive, confident approach to work with a friendly, approachable manner.
    • Proactive and shows initiative

    • Over 18 years of age
    • Eligible to work in the UK
    • Hold a UK bank account in their own name
