    We have an incredible opportunity within our Publicity team at Paramount Pictures, based in Chiswick, for a 12 month paid placement, starting at the end of August 2023. Working 3 days in the office (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) and 2 days from anywhere you work your best, this opportunity will see you have exposure to a variety of tasks, supported by the publicity team and enable you to develop behavioral and technical skills to kick start a career in Media.

    What tasks will you be getting involved with

    • Coordinating the administration and distribution of Titles and images across the internal media management site, ensuring information is shared with the press in time for deadlines
    • Being the first point of contact and for the Film Distributors' Association (FDA) including Scottish National Pres Show
    • Booking, coordinating and attending press screening events (daytime and evening as required) and sending out film specific release date press releases
    • Be part of meetings, hearing first hand the activities being carried out and document notes taken for team reference
    • Work with local and international Publicity and Marketing teams to ensure all material required for press needs are collated, shared and saved
    • Liaising with journalists with regards to upcoming screenings/junkets.
    • Logging all reviews/reactions received for each film release/screening and send to Head Office and UK Marketing team
    • Supporting the team with administration tasks which are integral to the teams objectives and success

    What do I need to be considered

    • Recently finished School or University looking for an opportunity and career within Media
    • Have a genuine passion for Film and TV
    • Excellent attention to detail and time management
    • Strong administrative and computer skills and highly organised individual, who can prioritise tasks and responsibilities
    • Ability to think creatively to tackle problems.
    • Great communication and interpersonal skills
    • Hunger to grow and develop skills in a fast-paced working environment
    • Flexible to work in a team and at times work varied hours to accommodate press events and deadlines

    What is the process

    After formally applying for the role, your profile will be reviewed by a member of our Talent Acquisition team (also known as the Recruitment team). If successful, you will be invited to complete a short, fun, online assessment and finally, if selected, you will meet the members of the team for a virtual interview.

    What are the timescales
