    The RoleTrelonk Ltd have an exciting opportunity for an IT SUPPORT INTERN to work in a small team providing IT support and assistance to all members of staff within Trelonk Ltd and it's associated companies. No two days are the same and you will work as part of a team to keep the company running smoothly and securely.

    In return we will support you with in house training, career development opportunities and the chance to work somewhere unique, which recognises talent. You will provide IT support to a team of colleagues across our diverse businesses including:

    Wild Cornwall is our farm-to-field catering company, a little tribe that begun its life at the Trelonk Estate, among the gorse and greenery of the Cornish Roseland. We were so inspired by the resources growing naturally all around, we formed to create our own fresh produce and gift ideas.

    • Farm – The supply chain to Wild Cornwall of foraged crops, together with a large amount of wheat and barley.
    • Estates - The functioning of the wider estate and looking after the various tenants and occupiers.

    Responsibilities 

    • Maintaining records/databases.
    • IT training support for new colleagues including issuing of equipment.
    • Providing IT support to commercial and operations teams.
    • Primary contact point for IT support assistance.
    • Installing and configuring new equipment.
    • Management of company mobile phones.
    • Working with leaders to produce professional power point presentations.
    • IT project support and administration

    You’ll need to be organised, personable and enjoy variation in your work with a keen eye for detail. A proactive attitude and being able to multitask well is essential in ensuring that we operate to strict rules and manage to keep everything running smoothly.

    The work we do requires an agile and adaptable mindset, you’ll be working with different software packages. Please note due to the rural location you will need your own transport to get to the office.

    Desirable Skills

    • Strong knowledge of Office365 and Windows Server 2016/2019.
    • Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
    • Proactive when dealing with issues.
    • Support local and remote colleagues and respond to incidents in a timely, courteous, and efficient manner.
