    In this position, you will join Partners Group’s Private Equity team in London, with responsibilities across all aspects of private equity control investments, including sourcing, due diligence and deal execution, ongoing monitoring and value creation and divestitures. The role is within the Industrial / Consumer team and your responsibilities will include:

    • Developing investable subsector themes
    • Contributing to due diligence workstreams on prospective investments (e.g. financial, commercial, tax, legal due diligence etc.)
    • Drafting and presenting investment recommendation documents
    • Modelling business plans, LBO structures and deal returns
    • Contributing to the negotiation and drafting of legal transaction documentation (SPA, SHA, MIP etc.)
    • Supporting portfolio companies throughout our investment period (including the planning, execution and monitoring of value creation initiatives)
    • Conducting various other tasks related to product reporting, market research, internal requests and marketing efforts with current and potential investors

    What we expect

    We are looking for a professional with the ability and willingness to excel within a highly entrepreneurial organization. The successful candidate should demonstrate:

    • Top academic credentials from a leading university (Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, MBA or MIF)
    • Initial experience (12 months minimum) in Private Equity, Investment Banking, M&A, Strategy Consulting, Leveraged Finance or Transaction Services at a top tier firm
    • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency in LBO modelling and in drafting investment proposals
    • Superior organizational competence (planning, scheduling, coordinating and time management)
    • Excellent teamwork skills within international settings
    • Excellent language skills
    • A high energy level coupled with a strong desire to learn and succeed, along with an impeccable work ethic and a professional demeanor

    We are looking for a candidate to join the team as of April 2023, for a minimum of 3 months.
