    Do you fancy a role being at the centre of our fast-paced, creative and sales-orientated International Rights team to support our growing Spanish-speaking business? If so, keep reading.

    We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly-organised, motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team as Rights Assistant to provide full administrative support to our Spanish language rights and custom publishing sales team.

    We’re a fun, friendly and very international bunch that presents and sells DK's stunning books to publishers all around the world in more than 60 languages! We are always on the lookout for new commercial and editorial opportunities to increase our sales and keep our customers happy. To do this, we travel to meet with our customers and we attend international book fairs. Therefore, you must be willing to travel should the business need you to.

    In this varied and busy role where no two days are the same, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

    • Liaising in Spanish with international customers and publishing partners across the Spanish-speaking world
    • Liaising in English with internal departments - Publishing, Editorial, Asset Management, Digital (e-books), Production, Legal, Finance
    • Tracking titles through the print and digital production process and resolving any problems that arise
    • Sending materials to international customers and publishing partners
    • Managing invoices and drafting contracts
    • Maintaining databases

    To be successful in this integral position, you will be fluent in both spoken and written Spanish and English. It’s important you are incredibly organised, can use your own initiative to prioritise your workload and can keep all plates spinning at the same time! With an excellent eye for detail, you should possess a positive ‘can do’ attitude, work well as part of a team, not be afraid to get stuck in and be able to pick up new systems quickly.

    Salary: circa. £26,000 per annum dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.
