    The purpose of this role is to provide support with the financial planning, reporting and analysis across DK’s global business. Additionally, this role will provide support to the DK India finance team.

    Key Responsibilities

    Budgeting & Forecasting

    • Assist with the preparation of the Group budget and forecasts, ensuring accuracy through detailed and analytical review.
    • Prepare the Group budget and forecast packs for presentation to the DK board.
    • Key support for DK India finance team, assisting with the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecast for DK India.

    Reporting

    • Completion of month end processes for India and Group functions including reconciliations; preparation of provisions and accruals; and review of overheads.
    • Critically analyse the Group P&L and understand variances ensuring accuracy throughout.
    • Prepare the monthly Global KPI pack for circulation to the DK and PRH leadership teams.
    • Oversee daily sales reporting and monthly global sales estimates to senior management.
    • Coordinate recharges to Group territories including central service fee and royalties.
    • Support during the annual internal audit and risk management reporting cycle.

    Analysis

    • Provide support to DK Group territories, dealing with queries including ad hoc support on billing issues or corrections.
    • Provide analytical support to DK India finance team.
    • Assist the DK Senior Business Analyst and Head of Finance – Group & International on commercial analysis and projects as required.

    Key Skills & Knowledge

    • Degree qualified (2:1 minimum).
    • Strong work ethic and a team player.
    • Proven ability to prioritise and proactively manage own workload to tight deadlines.
    • Ability to communicate with both financial and non-financial colleagues.
    • Ability to analyse, evaluate and clearly report financial data.
    • Commercial awareness – the ability to see the broad perspective.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong Excel skills.
    • Knowledge of Business Objects / SAP/ Anaplan would be advantageous.

      • DK India and other DK Overseas finance teams
      • Rest of DK UK finance team
      • PRH finance team
      • Bertelsmann Accounting Services Team
