Pennine GP Alliance is a membership body of 20 General Practices working together to sustain & support the delivery of primary care to the people of Calderdale.

The role
We are looking for a creative individual with digital design (Canva) and content development skills who is looking to gain paid work experience and develop their communication and marketing skills.
The successful individual will benefit from working with an experienced Communications Manager who has an extensive journalistic background and knowledge of Plain English.
Furthermore, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to acquire and further develop their communication skills, time management, attention to detail, and adaptability, as well as gain some valuable hands-on experience in a lively and friendly office environment.
This role would ideally suit a university student or recent graduate of journalism, communications, marketing or English.
The post is initially one day a week for 12 months but may be extended. The postholder will be expected to be in the office (based in Halifax) one day a week between Monday and Thursday, with flexibility on the specific day based on the availability of the successful candidate.
Initially this post is offered for a 12month period but there is the potential for this role to become permanent.
