Working in our fast paced, successful Finance team there has never been a better time to join Pepper Money, a specialist mortgage lender backed by a global financial institution offering first and second charge loans.

We really do believe that it’s our people who are our main competitive advantage – the ‘thing’ that sets us apart from our competitors.

Our passion is to ‘Help People Succeed’. This is at the heart of everything we do and includes our valued customers, intermediary brokers and partners as well as all of our fantastic colleagues.

We operate a hybrid working model, so you will benefit from both home and office working, the office being based in central London.

What you will be doing

This role sits within heart of our Finance function, assisting the FP&A team with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for the business, monthly reporting and improving existing processes. You will be expected to work to tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.

Supporting the FP&A team with producing robust monthly MI, explanation and analysis of month end results and driving process improvements, you will also liaise with other Finance teams and business areas to assist with any ad hoc queries.

You will support the FP&A team in re-designing, building and maintaining management reports to aid decision making and assist with the presentation of financial results to senior management, tracking financial performance vs budget and explaining key variances and areas of focus.

You will also support the team in leveraging a new financial planning tool (Vena) in month end reporting and forecasting / budgeting process.

You will ideally be a fully qualified accountant, however, this is not essential.

If you have worked in a similar role within financial services, are an analytical thinker who possesses excellent attention to detail, then this could be the perfect role for you.

You will be confident with all aspects of financial modelling and forecasting and must have strong Excel skills (advanced level). Knowledge of Vena or another planning tool would be advantageous. Prior modelling and FS experience is essential.

In return for your commitment, you’ll have the chance to develop your career in a dynamic environment, working alongside top talent and an exceptional leadership team. If you want to be involved in our exciting expansion plans and have the chance to really shape and influence the way the business grows then we’d love to hear from you.

We want our people to feel a sense of belonging at Pepper Money. We are committed to meeting our Diversity and Inclusion charter, further information can be found on the Careers section on our website.
