    We're looking for undergraduate students with a can-do attitude who are curious to experience how a multinational company operates, to join our commercial team for 10 weeks in Summer 2022. No matter what your degree area, this is an exciting and unique opportunity to become a member of our Sales or Marketing teams and make a real difference to the PepsiCo business. A tailored commercial training and induction, Head Office group challenge and networking with key PepsiCo employees from a number of different functions, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and HR, will stretch your ability and enhance your skills.

    You’ll be included within an action-packed induction schedule where you’ll be equipped with extensive company knowledge and techniques that’ll help you along your way. As you’ll be working independently for much of the time, you'll need to be self-motivated with great time management skills.

    If joining the Sales team

    You’ll work independently during the internship; negotiating the deals and selling our amazing products to real customers. Once training is complete you’ll manage your own geographical area and visit local cafes or newsagents to increase the distribution of our products. You’ll also be rotated around other areas of the sales team completing individual and group tasks such as Ecommerce, Out of Home, and Grocery.

    If joining the Marketing team

    You’ll work as part of one of our brand teams; learning how to plan campaigns and sell our amazing products to consumers. You will meet our agency teams and be responsible for creating ideas and assist in executing a real-life project into the market for consumers to see.

    Location

    They’ll be internships available in Reading, London, and across the UK (if in Sales, you’ll be out based for half of the internship), and you’ll be given the option to state your preferred location further on in the application process. If out based within the Sales team, we'll give you a small company car with all the marketing and sales tools you’ll need and support you all the way.

    Your internship experience will be coupled with continued support and guidance from experienced PepsiCo employees in the form of mentors and buddies. You’ll enhance your commercial skills and business acumen throughout the internship and learn to analyze data, negotiate, create, build and maintain business relationships.

    During your time spent at our Head Office in Reading, you’ll embark on a group challenge amongst other activities, network with other departments in the business, and have the opportunity to hear about the career journeys of some of our senior leaders. PepsiCo is known for developing top-notch leaders and an inspiring place to work and this internship can be a fantastic start to a potential career with us. Many of our best summer interns have gone on to be offered a place on our Future Leaders Programme upon graduation.

    This is a 10-week summer internship starting mid-June 2022, with a competitive salary of £330 per week. You’ll be given a car for your role that you’ll need to be comfortable driving, and also must have a full, UK driving license.
