Key responsibilities
- Reporting
- Ensure compliance with relevant reporting frameworks and standards, including but not limited to: CDP, TCFD, ISSB, GRI and others, working with the wider sustainability team
- Assist in the preparation of ESG reports for internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to: the annual report, TCFD report, UNGC communication on progress and others
- Respond to ESG questionnaires from rating agencies, investors and other stakeholders, with support from internal stakeholders, providing accurate and comprehensive information in a timely manner (e.g. MSCI, Sustainalytics, FTSE4Good, CDP, Vigeo Eiris, S&P Global)
- Data collection and analysis
- Collaborate with various departments to gather, validate, analyze, and monitor ESG-related data and KPIs.
- Analyze ESG metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement
- Stakeholder communication
- Co-ordinate with the sustainability team to update the company website with accurate and up-to-date ESG information, ensuring alignment with external reporting and disclosure requirements
- Engage with ESG rating agencies to capture and analyse ratings and feedback (e.g. MSCI, Sustainalytics, FTSE4Good, EcoVadis, and S&P Global)
- Research and benchmarking
- Stay informed about industry developments, emerging regulations and best practices in ESG reporting
- Assist with conducting benchmarking exercises to compare our organisation’s ESG performance against peers and industry standards
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Degree (2:1 or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, standards, and reporting guidelines
- Knowledge of financial reporting principles and some experience with ESG reporting are preferred
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including Excel
- Be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and multitask
- Good coordination & project management skills
- High attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral (English)
- Required to have strong analytical skills to analyse data and draw meaningful insights to support ESG reporting
