The role

As a Graduate in our Data Insights team, you will help in building, developing, and maintaining dashboards, covering a wide variety of data sources and performance metrics. Reporting into the Senior Director, Digital Operations, you’ll work with a wide variety of data, including financial, supply chain and logistics data to provide comprehensive insights to support the supply and global commercial teams and other departments within Pharmanovia. You will help coordinate and attend meetings and ensure all activity is fully tracked and captured in monthly reports.

You will be able to think strategically and have excellent analytical skills. You’ll be eager to solve problems and challenges, identify opportunities, think critically when analysing data and data sources and compile useful overviews of data and intel. You will be proactive and can take on tasks independently, applying good time management and prioritising skills. You will need to be able to be flexible and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be involved in

  • Ensuring data (covering production, inventory, and logistics) is received in a timely manner from our partners or internal departments, and support automation projects across the business
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends and insights using tools such as Power BI
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
  • Conducting root cause analyses to identify the underlying causes of operational issues and develop recommendations for corrective actions
  • Supporting the development and implementation of new operational initiatives, such as process automation and optimization using AWS tools
  • Supporting in the development and implementation of Databricks on AWS
  • Using analytical skills & business acumen to translate data into informative visuals and reports, and communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Ad hoc analysis for Supply Chain and other functions in the business
  • Ad hoc projects and other required functions depending on business needs

About you

  • On track to achieve a minimum 2.1 degree in a STEM discipline
  • Experience in a relevant work environment is a plus, but not essential
  • Excellent standard of written and verbal communication in business English
  • Strong aptitude for technology and highly proficient in the use of MS Office, including intermediate to advanced level Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of working with Pivot Tables, VBA and Power Query is desirable
  • Experience using Power BI (or similar tools e.g. Tableau)
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and/or statistical programming knowledge (Python/R)
  • Ability to relate to stakeholders at all levels and from different cultural backgrounds
  • First class numerical and analytical skills
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and critical thinking
  • Strategic thinking and data analysis skills
  • Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
