    As a data analyst intern you will be tasked with providing insights, analysis and reporting across the wider Digital+ group – with a specific focus on our product your insights will provide direction, improve consumer experiences and generally improve the efficiency of the teams decision making. You will be able to appropriately assess the balance between speed of delivery and rigour of the analysis in order to enable the team on their requirements.

    You are responsible for

    • Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
    • Develop and improve data systems
    • Provide well structured reporting and analysis that supports the team in decision making
    • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
    • Work with Head of Analytics to prioritise business needs
    • Identify and define improvement opportunities to existing flows
    • Rigorously maintain all tagging schemas and documentation

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

    • Experience in data analysis
    • Working knowledge of SQL and strong passion to become proficient in it
    • A working experience with Excel or other business intelligence tools
    • A reasonable technical understanding, and a keen desire to develop your understanding on data flows, data processing and ETL processes
    • Knowledge and understanding of statistical techniques (A/B testing, linear regressions, p-tests)
    • Analytically minded with the ability to identify, organise, analyse, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong communication skills
    • Some understanding of Python would be beneficial
    • Ideally a BS in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or similar
