The role of Sales Support is to provide assistance and support to Sales Account Managers by effectively responding to customer enquiries and supplier/vendor queries.
The main responsibilities are
- Raising sales orders etc utilising company sales tool (Oasis) while following process and ISO guidelines
- Telephone, Teams and email liaison with customers and suppliers including confirming software prices, dealing with queries and latest deals etc
- Checking confirmation orders and ensuring that all aspects of the sales process are adhered to.
- Updating purchases/quotes on the sales system, working accurately, and responding within agreed timelines
- Keeping up to date with all training on systems/process/products to effectively support the Team and train Team members where required.
- Utilising of our internal CRM system – duties would include creating deal registrations and updating Opportunities where required
- Provide cover for Account Managers and other Sales Admin Team members.
- Working closely with other departments to support development of internal systems and processes.
- Assisting in the management of client relationships to secure and retain customers business on behalf of the Sales Account Managers
- Identifying further business opportunities through liaison with customers, suppliers and working closely with Account Managers
- Other general administrative duties
- Liaising, communicating and working closely with other departments
- Support objectives as defined in the company’s information security policy
- Perform your tasks in support of data and information security
Ideally, you will already have
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to prioritise work under pressure, work without supervision and use initiative to ensure that deadlines are met
- Commitment to see a job through to a successful conclusion
- A flexible approach to the working day
- A strong team player and work ethic
- 1 year’s experience in an office environment/administration support role
