    The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and grow professionally working towards RICS chartership if not already achieved, working with leaders in their respective fields in a multidisciplinary environment.

    Key responsibilities

    • Preparation of surveys, designs, reports, and contract documents, including drawings
    • Support senior leads with the delivery of major complex heritage projects
    • Development of heritage impact assessments and Listed Building Consents
    • Undertake on-site or other survey work
    • Responsible for ensuring that they understand and comply with all Health & Safety requirements, practices, and procedures

    About you

    This is a perfect role for a Building Surveyor looking to expand their career in the heritage/conversation space. Key requirements include:

    • Previous experience working with heritage organisation either English Heritage, National Trust or within a World Heritage Site is desirable
    • Conversation/heritage orientated degree or qualification with some work experience.
    • Training or experience in the fundamentals of Building Surveying
    • MRICS or commitment to achieve chartership statues within 3-4 years.
    • Good written communication skills and continuing to develop both written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstratable interest in traditional and historic buildings
    • Team player and self-motivated
    • Ability to recognise own limitations and seek advice and support when needed
    • Takes an active interest in wider Heritage sector organisation such as the SPAB, SAVE etc
    • Demonstrate the ability to work closely clients developing long term relationship
