    Key Responsibilities

    • Working with the R&D team to meet Brand & customer briefs to deliver the best meat and meat free products on our Richmond & Fridge Raider brands.
    • Supporting technologists by assisting running line trials in the factory and preparation of products for internal tastings.
    • Support R&D activities in the development kitchen and factory this may include preparing samples, carrying out trials following agreed procedures & recipes, carrying out routine analysis, functional & sensory evaluation, sample dispatch to customer / manufacturing site
    • Support and lead key projects for the meat & meat free business.
    • Preparation of products for internal tastings.
    • Maintain the R&D raw materials ensuring they are fully stocked with appropriate traceability
    • Maintain relevant R&D documentation.

    What You’ll Need

    • Food Science/Culinary Arts/Nutritional Science Degree - 2.1 or above
    • Strong motivation to progress within a commercial organisation
    • Structured, proactive thinking with communication skills to verbalise clearly & concisely
    • Self-starter with strong decision-making ability to prioritise & get things done
    • Strong collaboration skills and demonstrate an ability to work cross functionally.
    • Ability to demonstrate Pilgrim’s Food Masters values of Determination, Ownership, Sincerity, Simplicity, Humility, Availability and Discipline
    • Keen interest in Food & Food Manufacturing
    • Demonstrate a curious mindset for latest food trends
    • Strong Project Management Skills

    Successful applicants will join Pilgrims Food Masters at our office\site in Shillelagh/Hyde/Enniskillen in an entry level R&D Technologist position in September 2022.

    3. Successful applicants from the video interview stage will then be invited to attend an assessment centre in May 2022
