About the Role
EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) Field Marketing sits within the marketing department at PitchBook, and responsible for regional go to market strategies and sales enablement support for regional Sales and Customer Success teams. The Marketing team at PitchBook is critical to fueling the company’s growth by utilizing a variety of strategies to support our Sales and Customer Success departments grow and retain our client base. The Marketing department is responsible for all demand generation efforts by executing engaging campaigns, effective product marketing strategies, and attending client and trade-show events. The Marketing team is also responsible for promoting the PitchBook brand and managing internal communications.
PitchBook is looking for a Field Marketing intern to assist the EMEA Field Marketing manager in regional and sub-regional market research, analysis and sales enablement. This internship will give you hands on experience with marketing research and analytics including tools growth marketers use every day to support their marketing strategy and campaigns. The ideal candidate is someone who is interested in both the analytical and creative aspects of marketing. Over the course of the internship, you will get the opportunity to learn about, regional aspects of field marketing when supporting Sales and Customer Success teams based on regional trends and analytics and sales enablement materials. You will also be able to learn some fundamental skills of demand generation, event marketing and how these channels are differ for specific regions. Our Summer Internship is full-time program running from June – August 2023.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Support regional market research efforts through sales call analysis, gap analysis and macro/micro environmental research for specific sub-regions
- Assist with industry specific research
- Conduct regional account research and identify trends, insights and brainstorm collaboratively with other team members to identify creative engagement campaign opportunities
- Partner with our internal creative agency to create compelling sales enablement assets including messaging based on regional research results
- Assist with the creation of promotional assets for in-person events and webinars
Skills and Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a junior in a higher education program (college or university)
- Business, Economics, Finance and related majors preferred
- Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, from June-August 2023
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Results-oriented and curious individual with solid analytical and critical thinking skills
- Highly organized with extraordinary attention to detail
- A true team player with a roll up the sleeves attitude
- Natural curiosity and desire to learn from other teams and departments within PitchBook
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, within a high growth company
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
- Interest in finance and speaking one of the following languages is a plus: German, French OR Swedish
