Renishaw takes on a number of students during the summer holiday period for between 6 and 14 weeks. Students studying at sixth form or degree level will get the opportunity to develop good practical skills that will prove invaluable throughout any software engineering career.
The majority of placements get involved in a project during their time with us, and projects can be with our Product, Web and Mobile Apps, UI controls, 3D Rendering, Testing or Applications Management teams where you can gain a real insight into working in a software development environment.
Person Specification
We are looking for students who are either studying for relevant qualifications in Computer Science or can demonstrate a practical exposure to programming.
As Renishaw is based quite rurally, it is essential that applicants have their own form of transport or they are willing to relocate to the local area.
