Are you passionate about Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE)? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen making sure PPIE happens in the Coastal and Rural Mental Health Realist Study (known as ‘CARMHRS’). It will include making sure that people with lived experience are actively part of designing and running the research study. People with personal experience of living rurally, coastally, and/or experiencing mental health problems are encouraged to apply.

    The role

You will become part of the Community and Primary Care Research Group (CPCRG), in the Faculty of Health at the University of Plymouth. CPCRG is a welcoming and growing research group concerned with improving care through applied health and care research on issues which matter to community and primary care services. CPCRG has strong links across the University, as well as with University of Exeter colleagues through PenARC, and with NHS Trusts and other health and social care organisations, including the third sector and the Health Innovation Network.

The successful candidate may be required to obtain an ATAS Certificate prior to this research being undertaken.

For this role, you will need to be on site 1 day a week. Although we can acommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.

This is a part-time position working 14.8 hours per week on a fixed-term basis until 31 May 2027 due to funding.
