Where does the role fit in?
The Junior Software Developer plays a key role in designing and implementing integration solutions, connecting various systems, applications, and data sources within Pobl Group.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and project managers, to develop integration solutions that align with business and client needs. Your work will enhance data accuracy, security, and overall system performance.
What skills and experience do you need?
To excel in this role, you should have experience with software development methodologies like Agile and Waterfall, as well as a knack for unravelling complex technical challenges.
Prior work within development teams and familiarity with source control systems like Git or SVN is a plus. We value self-motivation, strong communication skills, and an adaptable 'can do' attitude. Whether you prefer collaborating in the office or working remotely, your logical problem-solving abilities and organisational skills will shine.
Proficiency in integration technologies, database principles, and SQL is essential, along with experience managing RDBMS like MySQL, MS SQL Server, or PostgreSQL. If you possess a coding background in C# or similar skills and can show evidence of ongoing professional development, we'd love to hear from you.

What are the pay and benefits?
- £38,081 for a 37 hour, full time, permanent position
- Flexible working policies – this role would be both home and office based with regular time spent in our Newport office and occasionally elsewhere including Swansea.
