You will provide process support to Shildon Operations and Supply Chain. Deliver improvements to existing processes, introduce new or modified processes, minimise process losses and waste. Reporting into the Assistant Process Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement process improvements to support Strategic Improvement Programs such as Right First Time and Material Efficiency
- Provide process support with batch issues, adjustments, quality hazards, reject and complaints
- Facilitate teams for repetitive batch issues
- Support with laboratory testing and analysis to meet our needs
- Demonstrate a flexible approach and deputise for other team members
Qualifications
- A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- An understanding of epoxy and urethane paint chemistry and polysulfide sealant chemistry would be highly advantageous
- Good IT knowledge desirable
