    As a Human Resources Assistant, you will maintain and improve the organisation's human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Agree HR priorities and plans with the Senior People Operations Partner and Business Leaders.
    • Contribute to the development and maintenance of positive employee relations in the business units, through consultation and communications strategies.
    • Connect with the Senior Management Team to review working practices in line with business needs.
    • Manage all HR related policies and ensure they are updated with changes in legislation and communicated accordingly.
    • Support managers in key HR related activities i.e. discipline & grievance, absence management, performance management etc to ensure consistency is maintained accordingly.
    • Collaborate closely with the Occupational Health team on site in dealing with absence management along with maintaining a culture of health and wellbeing.
    • Lead UK/ European HR specific projects ensuring they are rolled out efficiently to the HR teams across the UK.

    Qualifications

    • Studying for a degree in a related field (Business Management, Human Resources, etc. (Crucial))!
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
    • Ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organisation.
    • Good organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage time efficiently, achieve results and cope with pressure.
    • Role will be based in Birstall, however, must have the willingness to travel to other locations around the UK & Ireland.
