We are looking for an experienced Junior Project Manager to join us here at Practice Plus Group, initially on a 12 month contract, with the possibility of being made permanent.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our National Projects team, working on lots of different projects across our Prisons and Immigration Removal Centres in England. This role is remote, with frequent national travel - visiting existing and new sites nationally (at least once per week).
Some of the projects you could be involved in are the roll out of the new biometric medicine dispensing system, E Rostering, or smaller specialised projects onsite. This team are currently working on the brand new state of the art prison - HMP Millsike, opening in 2025!
Hours
You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, usually between 09:00 - 17:30.
Salary
This is a full time position, and you’ll receive an annual salary of between £27,000 - £30,000 plus £4,000 car allowance.

What you'll be doing
As our new Junior Project Manager, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:
- Work as part of the National Health in Justice project management team, offering expertise to sites and staff across England
- This is a developmental role, where you will work under the guidance of the Project Manager - assisting with all parts of the project lifecycle
- Work closely with the wider team, including operations and projects, as well as regional and national teams
- Work on projects of all sizes - regionally, nationally and site specific
- Help develop the project, keeping track of progress and costs, and keeping the Project Manager and other stakeholders up to date
- Travel nationally as required - at least once per week

As our new Junior Project Manager, you will
- Have a keen interest in Project Management - no experience is necessary, but any project based experience would be beneficial
- A Project Management qualification isn't essential - we will help you to achieve this!
- Be able to demonstrate an interest in, and ability to work within projects
- A good knowledge of how organisations work - ideally a multi disciplinary or multi site industry
- Be happy to travel nationally as required - likely to be at least one day per week
