The role
Pret A Manger aims to be the world’s most loved food and coffee brand delivering amazing standards in every Pret experience; physical and digital. To support this ambition, we are looking to hire a Transformation Analyst to support both our Executive Team (also called our Global Leadership Team or GLT) and our Transformation Office. The Executive team comprises of 7 roles including our Chief Executive Officer, two Managing Directors and four central Global Directors – Chief Financial Officer, Chief People Officer, Chief Customer Officer and Chief Information Officer. Our Transformation Office comprises our Strategy & Transformation Director, Programme Managers & Business Analysts.
Reporting to the Strategy & Transformation Director, you will own deliverables within the Transformation Office and partly support the GLT. You will be responsible for supporting the GLT by delivering high-quality presentations, facilitating the board deck reviews and supporting on other governance activities. This may include organising meetings but mostly is focused on the creation of agendas and information packs.
For the Transformation Office, you will be key to setting up the team for success and ensuring they remain on track to navigate the transformation plan. Working at pace and within periods of ambiguity, you will play a key role in strategic planning & the overall direction of the business. This will include supporting the market and global teams with planning, defining measures of success, and helping them to understand areas of opportunity for improvement. This will come via the form of KPI reporting and driving actionable insight which will be used across all levels of the business including the Board. You will have the opportunity to own key parts of the transformational change the team makes to business processes as well as have an acting role in governance at both the GLT and team levels of the business. This role also provides many opportunities to learn about Project Management and deliverable tangible benefits to our customers, our shops & the wider business.
You will be a strong communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to multi-task. This role requires individuals who can juggle a varied workload with various work requests coming from a range of individuals. Relationship building is a key feature of this role, and it is essential that the jobholder will be good at forming and maintaining relationships at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Creating presentations for various levels of the organisation from board to shop teams
- Facilitating presentation reviews, ensuring content from contributors is added on time and supporting with content creation
- Administration support for the Strategy & Transformation Director including preparation of documents, mostly in PowerPoint and organising meetings
- Ad hoc support to the Global Leadership Team
- Tracking strategic KPIs and providing analysis to drive improvement
- Support the facilitation and documentation of key planning meetings for our markets and global functions
- Supporting the definition and implementation of key business process changes to deliver our growth plan
- Preparation for, and facilitation of, key governance and delivery sessions e.g. North Star, Quarterly Planning, etc.
- Capturing and tracking transformation team activities to enable the team to work effectively
- Support the Programme Managers, Business Analysts and other teams with project management

- Ability to always maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Excellent interpersonal skills – able to communicate effectively with all levels
- Organisation skills – ability to multitask and organise both their time and the schedule of the project, to ensure that all tasks are completed to the appropriate deadline
- Problem-solving skills – ability to find solutions and liaise with team members to quickly mitigate challenges so they don’t affect overall outcomes
- Excellent written language skills and attention to detail, always capturing documentation clearly
- Ability to proof-read effectively
- Able to work calmly under pressure
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to use initiative
- Proficiency in Jira for sprint planning, backlog grooming and project tracking is a bonus
