As a result of our success, Projective has an immediate requirement for an ambitious Graduate / Early Careers Engineer, we are thriving in all business areas and have exciting plans for 2022 and beyond.
As part of our integrated services, you will be working on complex industrial sites, supporting the designing, and delivering of process and utilities projects with large scale manufacturing clients, globally. A significant volume of this work will be integrating the latest new technology for low and zero carbon solutions into these established facilities. This is a client facing role, and the work will require excellent engineering design, reporting and technical presentation as well as professional communication skills.
The ideal applicant will have some initial industrial experience in the energy, sustainable power or industrial manufacturing sectors - this may have been gained during an industrial placement or your first full time position.
Essential skills and interests
- A passion for engineering and a desire to change the world through engineering innovation.
- Interest in industrial design including AutoCAD 2D & 3D or Solidworks
- Thermodynamic analysis
- Analytical mind and ability to develop engineering models from 1st principles
- Able to create a mass and energy balance
- Knowledge of renewable energy systems
- Ability to write a technical report with excellent English and grammar
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to demonstrate the ability to build rapport
- Interest in technical innovation and new technology
- A thirst for knowledge and self starting, proactive mindset
- Excellent communication, written and presentational skills are essential for this role.
Qualifications and additional requirements
- Masters degree 2:1 or above
- Driving licence
- Eligibility to work in the UK

Our offices
We are based in Fleet, Hampshire, which is 40 minutes from London, borders the counties of Berkshire and Surrey, and is on the mainline train route from London Waterloo.
The role is based at our UK offices, with the requirement to travel to client sites both UK and overseas. Applicants are expected to show existing eligibility to work in the UK and have access to own transport.
