    What you need to know

    Proserv Cumbernauld is engaged in the design of Industrial Control Systems and software solutions for fiscal measurement, predominately for the oil & gas sector.

    Upon joining our Engineering Department, the successful applicant will gain exposure to the key aspects of the products and services the team design and support. You will work with colleagues implementing and supporting control systems comprising electrical, SCADA/HMI, PLC/RTU, and documentation elements, among others. The successful applicant will also work with other departments to assist in delivering the materials, manufacture, test, and commissioning of systems as required, as well as interfacing with customers to ensure their requirements are met.

    We are looking for people with a qualification in engineering, who may not have all the preferred technical skills below but are motivated and keen to learn.

    Preferred technical skills include

    • Experience of configuring SCADA software
    • Experience of PLC Programming
    • Experience of installing and configuring Windows OS
    • Experience of installing and configuring Virtual Machines
    • Experience with IT networks and serial communications (e.g. Modbus) would be desirable
    • First/second line trouble shooting including technical support experience
    • High level of numeracy and IT skills
