Job Description
Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an eager Executive to join our lively, ambitious, and collaborative Digital team.
Reporting into the Programmatic Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of delivery for programmatic and social campaigns for Aldi, including set-up, optimisations, and day-to-day trading. Successful candidates will have a curious and inquisitive mind, an ability to find solutions when faced with challenges, and work well with others.
Starcom provide a full training program which includes direct access to all leading ad tech (Google, Amazon, The Trade Desk, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and Snap.) and supplier partners. As you are exposed to all sides of the digital buying ecosystem, you will learn a diverse set of skills from strategy through to buying and activating digital media.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Account Manager and other Executives in managing your brands digital activity.
- Respond to, execute, manage, and optimise online biddable media campaigns for Aldi (e.g. exchange-based performance media, audience-based buying, brand awareness campaigns, etc.) both independently and in support of more senior members of the team.
- Maintain and organise campaign-specific materials.
- Handle daily campaign maintenance, including internal questions regarding tracking and status of various campaigns.
- Assist in the development of client-facing campaign performance reports, providing insightful commentary, and using campaign learnings to inform strategic recommendations.
- Manage the delivery of creative assets, insertion orders, campaign artifacts, and all relevant campaign documentation in preparation for campaign launch.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have an interest in advertising and technology.
- They will be interested in understanding how consumers think, feel, and behave in relation to products and services; and in how technology can enable brands to engage with and influence this behaviour.
- The individual will enjoy working with data and have very strong attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and mathematical skills.
- They will be a team player who is keen to learn and is results-driven and ready to take responsibility for the effective implementation of activity within their accounts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions, particularly Excel.
