The Content Data Assistant is the guardian of PVH brands’ representation and tone of voice on key partner websites, responsible for high quality copywriting that reflect the premium nature of the brands, as well as product categorization on partner datasheets. The focus of this role lays within the realms of PDP, with the aim to increase conversion through descriptive copy and well-presented, relevant imagery.
This role reports into the Content Marketing Executive North Region.
Responsibilities
- COPYWRITING – write extensive, high quality product copy for key retail concession partners across both brands and all divisions, and work with I&A to incorporate key terms to optimize SEO and other forms of onsite ranking; write brand copy that is representative of the brands’ ethos and identity while remaining commercially relevant to both market and partner needs
- DATASHEET COMPLETION AND SUBMISSION – fill out key concession partner datasheets accurately and precisely, including product categorization and price, to ensure data integrity so products go live onsite without hindrance
- IMAGE AND VIDEO PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION – rename, resize and submit PDP imagery and videos to the standard required by each key concession partner; retouch PDP imagery minimally where required, such as changing background colour to partner requirements
- ADHOC – Support with adhoc requests and support across the business related to content and data inputs.
Who you are
- FLUENCY IN WRITTEN ENGLISH – strong, confident grasp of written English, including spelling, grammar and punctuation; candidate will be the owner of brand tone of voice on online marketplace, thus vital to ensure copy is to the highest standard
- INTEREST IN PRODUCT – a genuine passion for product, to be able to convey USPs, any technical specifications and high quality of products to the consumer, to aid in conversion through persuasion of consumers at the point of purchase
- STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS – beyond strong written skills, must be able to have constant communication with key stakeholders, such as Central Buying team to understand product USPs, and Content Marketing Team to ensure smooth flow of imagery submission critical path
- SELF-MOTIVATED – able to stay focused and motivated when writing large amounts of copy and preparing high volume of PDP imagery, to ensure high standard and consistent tone of voice is sustained
- TIME CONSCIOUS AND SELF-DISCIPLINED – data submission is incredibly vital as product cannot begin its online shelf life unless datasheets are submitted. Candidate must be acutely aware of seasonal launch dates and windows, and possess the self-discipline to consistently uphold deadlines and critical path
- TEAM PLAYER – while able to work independently, candidate must have a team mentality to ensure smooth execution of content critical path, as it involves multiple teams; work well with internal and external stakeholders to ensure minimal friction in the run-up to deadlines
