About the role
PVH Central Planning & Buying is responsible for the selection, range building and product strategy for the Region North. In a constantly changing retail environment, we look to build the best assortment for each of our retail, wholesale and concession partners based upon customer profile, sales targets and regional retail landscape.
Working closely with all key retail (merchandising, wholesale, retail operations, visual merchandising and store teams), collaboration, strong communication and a passion for opportunity and success are the foundations for this team!
Reporting into the Planner, the Junior Planner plays a key role in delivering the range strategy for a number of divisions for one of our brands across the whole Region. Focusing on our seasonal ranges they will work closely with the wider Buying and Planning team to ensure a cohesive strategy across multiple sales channels and countries.
Responsibilities
- To support with and maintain the optimal seasonal ranges in accordance with defined business processes and deadlines.
- Drive key department KPIs, such as increased ASP, improved productivity rates, option efficiencies and synergies across all channels and markets.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders across both Region North and Amsterdam head office teams, both virtually and in-person.
- Supports Planner throughout the budgeting process across Retail and Wholesale.
- Alongside Buying, guide division and category plans for the upcoming buy periods and present to retail and wholesale stakeholders.
- Aligns with both NOS planning team and buying team to ensure full range offer is cohesive and focused.
- Manages and proposes OTB opportunity with retail teams and aligns with wider range planning strategy.
- Works with Wholesale teams to support in season trading across a number of partners.
- Manages central planning documents ensuring key deadlines are hit for both retail and wholesale central functions.
- Determines sizing strategy based on in-depth analysis.
- Help optimize range performance through micro-range analysis and reporting, working with the trading teams.
- Support in delivering the planned sales and profitability across the divisions through effective planning and working with B&M for in season trading.
- Works very closely with Retail teams to ensure smooth process for new and refit stores.
- Supports in post season analysis and feedback creation for Retail & Wholesale channels.
- Maintain planning data/ fields within various systems: SAP BW/ HANA, Excel.
- Motivate, lead and develop your Assistant Planner. Setting the highest standards and ensuring that they are motivated and working towards additional responsibility.
Who you are
- You’ll be working at a Junior Merchandiser or Assistant Merchandiser level (or equivalent) ready for the next step.
- You’ll have experience in working with Buyers to drive out range plans supported by in-depth analysis.
- You’ll have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with ease.
- You’ll be a strong team leader with an ability to manage, motivate and work effectively within a small team.
- You’ll be a commercially astute and confident decision maker, communicating with impact across all levels.
- You’ll have in-depth knowledge of the current competitive market place.
- You will work well with change, being able to quickly adapt and work with pace.
