    Q Analysts is looking for QA testers to work on testing social apps on a virtual reality product. Project requires a basic background in testing devices or apps or games and the ability to understand the architecture of the hardware and software stack and good troubleshooting skills.

    Testers will run existing and new test cases and log bugs. Project involves testing updates, new features on social apps for android based VR devices and peripherals. Requires good exploratory skills and an inquisitive mind to test the limitations of the software and hardware and uncover bugs. They will also have to document and create test reports and be comfortable with team collaboration. This is an onsite 40/hrs per week role.

    QA Testers are expected to be capable of functioning independently or as part of a team, analyzing and isolating software and hardware failures, and reporting thorough, actionable bugs.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Test case execution
    • Software and hardware bug investigation and reporting
    • Bug fix verification

    Skills:

    • Familiarity with basic command line prompts
    • Experience with commonly used bug-tracking software such as Jira, Bugzilla, Mantis, etc.
    • Strong deductive reasoning
    • Clear, accurate and succinct written and verbal communication
    • Understanding of the software development process

    Education/Experience:

    • High School diploma or equivalent with 1+ year of testing experience or in a related role
      OR
    • Recent college graduate with a relevant degree
