About the role
This role supports the Finance Operations Managers, it is a key part of the safe delivery of the trial balance through supporting the underlying automated feeds and the manual journals required to ensure the ledger is correct.
Key responsibilities include
- Produce the monthly numbers for the key processes and production of the trial balance through managing automated system feeds and manual journals working with Accounts Payable.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate reconciling items.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and outputs.
- Assist in implementing any required changes to financial reporting, systems, or procedures smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintaining adherence to the Quilter control framework.
- Support the provision of information for external auditors.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with the other members of the wider finance team to share best practice and standards.
