The Role
We have a new career opportunity for a driven and motived Talent Resourcer to join Quotient Sciences People Function. This is a home-based role. Our UK sites are in Nottingham, Reading, Edinburgh and Alnwick, so depending upon where you are located, you will have opportunities to work onsite occasionally if/when preferred.
The pharmaceutical recruitment industry is buoyant, and Quotient is a growing business, therefore the Talent Resourcer will be required to proactively source and attract candidates from various channels. You will have a LinkedIn Recruiter license and access to job boards.
In addition to sourcing candidates, you will have ownership of approximately 10-15 live vacancies at various levels. Activities will include taking job briefs, writing attractive job adverts, advertising jobs, candidate sourcing, screening, managing candidate responses, conducting telephone interviews, interview scheduling and offering candidates. There will be opportunities to support managers with interviews, which are typically held on Microsoft Teams.
There is a big focus on recruitment, however, in time there will also be opportunities to get involved in various projects such as supporting Quotient’s Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and employer brand strategy and supporting with the development of early careers recruitment including apprentices and graduate placements.
Other tasks and responsibilities
- Develop recruitment strategies and plans to attract high quality candidates
- Build effective pipelines for hard to recruit for roles
- Manage the candidate experience using our applicant tracking system
- Advise hiring managers on the most appropriate selection methods
- Interview scheduling and diary management using Outlook and Quotient’s ATS
- Support with producing monthly, quarterly, and annual recruitment metrics
- Attend relevant careers fairs at our local universities (these are currently virtual)
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be a motivated and driven recruiter with a passion for delivering an excellent candidate experience. You will be required to use our applicant tracking system, so previous experience of using an ATS, or the ability to pick up computer systems quickly is desirable.
Ideally you will have some in-house recruitment experience. If you have experience of agency and in-house recruitment, this would be preferred. This role requires tenacity, resilience, and a strong work ethic. Positive communication and the ability to build rapport with stakeholders and influence effectively when required is key for this role.
Previous experience recruiting for scientific, pharmaceutical, or healthcare roles is preferred, alternatively you will have experience of recruiting for a broad spectrum of roles at various levels.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence effectively
- Computer literate in MS Office (we use PowerPoint and excel, word and Outlook)
- Experience of producing a range of recruitment metrics/reports would be ideal
- Previous experience of building talent pipelines and direct sourcing
- Strong candidate management skills with a passion to deliver an excellent candidate experience
- A "can-do" attitude
